Week #8 : Team photos

We all wore our awesome team t-shirts and took some team photos. Thank you to the Hill family for providing the team t-shirts. I think it is fair to say that we love them.

This week we enjoyed a special treat in sharing some birthday cake and recognizing Kailash's birthday. Happy Birthday!!

Innovation Project Ideas

This week we spent the first part of our meeting brainstorming ideas and made a list of the types of exercises that seniors enjoy and the typical types of equipment seniors use. With some guidance, the boys filled in a matrix highlighting the activities and equipment that seniors enjoy and use. They were asked to prototype their idea at home and sell that idea to the team next week.

Missions 02, 09, 11, 12 and 06

Jackson decided that he was close the the pull-up bar (09) after completing the step counter (02). Why not go under the pull-up bar first then head off to the treadmill (06)?

Kailash and Andy spent their time designing and building an attachment that they could use to solve the row machine (11) and weight machine (12) missions. Initial testing showed that our gears connected to the medium motor weren't strong enough to push down the weight machine. After some research we found that we would need to integrate a worm gear into our attachment.
